We’re almost ready to make a splash! The finishing touches are being put on Crystal Cove Aquatic Center; however, our main pool pump had an unexpected hiccup. Replacement parts are on the way. Thank you for your patience as we work through this final step. We can’t wait to welcome you to this exciting new community space – stay tuned. A reopening celebration is Wednesday, June 25 with a free swim from 4-8 p.m., a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m., and an open house afterward.

The Crystal Frolics annual celebration is July 24-27 at Becker and Welcome Park in Crystal. The event will include live music, fireworks, family festival, softball tournament, button/crystal search, food and vendors, disc golf, pickleball, Bingo, inflatables, 5K run/walk, food drive and more.

In 2025, the recycling program in the City of Crystal expanded to include the curbside collection of organics. Organics consist of food scraps and non-recyclable paper such as napkins and paper towels, and it will be collected weekly on the same day as residents’ trash. Organics should be put in a compostable bag. Compostable bags can be found in many stores such as Menards and Target. Compostable bags have the BPI logo on the box and bag. Paper shopping bags are also acceptable.
