A special area in Bassett Creek Park has been designed for canine companions. This fenced in area has a lot of space for dogs to roam off-leash, get exercise and socialize. Park hours are 6 a.m.–10 p.m. The park is free.

We ask park users to follow these rules:
• No children allowed without adult supervision at all times.
• Owners must clean up and properly dispose of feces.
• Dogs must be on leashes prior to entering and leaving the area.
• No grooming in the dog park and surrounding area.
• No food – human or pet – allowed.
• Pets need to be properly licensed and vaccinated.
• Owners must have verbal control of their pet(s) and must prevent aggressive behavior and excessive barking. Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately.
• Owners must stay at the park if the police are called for an incident involving their dog.
• Never leave dogs unattended. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damage caused by them.
• Dogs in heat are not allowed inside the park.
