    Residents in Crystal can nominate their great neighbor for the "Neighbors Recognizing Neighbors" award. Now in its eighth year, the award honors and thanks great neighbors in Crystal. If you have a kind and thoughtful neighbor who helps out, volunteers in the community or was there in an emergency, the city wants to celebrate them.

    Presidential Nomination Primary

    ​The Presidential Nomination Primary (PNP) is Tuesday, March 5, 2024. In-person absentee voting for the PNP is Jan. 19 - March 4 at Crystal City Hall, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Weekdays: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; March 2: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.; March 4: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Voters can fill out their ballot from home with an absentee ballot by mail. For convenience, voters can also request an absentee ballot application online.

    Crystal Bulky Waste Cleanup

    If it’s time to get rid of unusable furniture, mattresses, carpet, appliances and more, the Hennepin Recycling Group (HRG) curbside bulky waste cleanup is a great opportunity from April 1 – 11, 2024. Crystal is divided into different zones, each with its own collection day. Find your collection date by clicking below. Reminder postcards are sent in March with collection dates and details regarding acceptable items.
